Consequences

Wild fires seem to be constantly in the news. It seems like California is under a near-constant battery from wild fires. Colorado has more than its fair share of wild fires, but none that can match the damage of California's recent Wild Fire.

As devastating as these fires are, I find the aftermath can be quite beautiful. Terrifyingly beautiful.

These photos from my "Consequences" project provide a close-up look at the years-later result of human carelessnes or Mother Nature's wrath when it results in a wide fire. Both tragic, yet beautiful. Tragically beautiful.
