On Porches

Years ago...who am I kidding, decades ago, I spent the better part of a summer driving around two counties in Northern New York looking for people who use their porches on a regular basis. The counties were deemed "improvised" by the Federal government. I'd see the people using their porch several times and I'd ask if I could make their photo. Most all said yes, even the poorest. I still look at this work with pride. I've started working it again and hope to be able to add to the portfolio.
